YourSix recently completed the SOC 2 audit through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), earning an exemplary report that validates the trust clients place in them as a leader in the Physical Security as a Service (PSaaS) market.
The rigorous SOC 2 examinations are built around Trust Services Criteria (TSC) designed to study the effectiveness of operational controls within a specific organization. The scope of these standards is calibrated to the organization’s industry, but it typically compares the company’s governance, operational, and information technology against the domains of security, confidentiality, availability, processing integrity, and privacy.
YourSix worked closely with Baker Tilly, a top-10 global CPA firm, throughout the SOC 2 audits. Together, they carefully navigated the comprehensive process, from pre-assessment studies and testing. Each layer of the SOC 2 audit is designed to rigorously validate the implementation of a high-trust business environment.
