CARES Act

FERPA

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that affords parents the right to have access to their children’s education records, the right to seek to have the records amended, and the right to have some control over the disclosure of personally identifiable information from the education records.

HIPAA

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act was created primarily to modernize the flow of healthcare information, stipulate how personally identifiable information maintained by the healthcare and healthcare insurance industries should be protected from fraud and theft, and address limitations on healthcare insurance coverage.

ISO 27001

The international standard for Information Security Management details requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system.

NDAA

National Defense Authorization Act which prohibits the federal government, government contractors, and grand and loan recipients from procuring or using certain "covered telecommunication equipment or services" that are produced by Huawei, ZTE, Hytera, Hikvision, and Dahua and their subsidiaries as a "substantial or essential component of any system, or as critical technology as part of any system.

ONVIF

Interoperability standard that enables integration of devices from different manufacturers.

PCI Compliance

Technical and operational standards to protect cardholder data and applies to any organization that accepts, transmits, or stores that data.

SOC II

SOC II audits cover controls relevant to the trust services principles (TSP): security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. 

TAA

The Trade Agreement Act is a law that was passed for the purpose of making international trade more open and fair.
